MY TRIBUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES!!!!

“A peaceful 8 hours of undisturbed sleep” whom can we reason ?

God? Doctor? Healthy genes? Cozy bed?

The above answers are what we usually utter in our common life. Apart from all these there is an unnoticed part of our nation to whom we should attribute our peaceful sleep to. Yes. On a different yet an essential perspective if we ponder upon, all our peace and happiness should be attributed to those unnoticed souls in the border embracing the boundary of the nation thereby protecting the entire country regardless of any discrimination.

They live on the scent of blood so that we breathe the fragrance of freedom.

They listen to the rhythm of the bullets so that our melodic national anthem still reverberates around the nation.

But we the citizens worship the protagonists on the theatre screens leaving this real warriors ,off the limelight. We forget the fact that it is upon the mercy of this battalions the entire nation exists.Of course not to forget the fact that films based on the army plot do well in the box office. But in real life the reel heroes always make it to the top in terms of fame and celebration when compared to the real heroes.

When choosing a career this divine profession doen’t even make it to the options that we choose from. All that we give them is a one second sympathy when we happen to see the news of their death,as we flip through the columns of the newspaper. But we,as the citizens of India owe all our peace and happiness to these unsung heroes of the nation who render the most selfless service to mankind more than any individual of other professions. This life sacrificing profession should be given a divine place in all our hearts. They are the real celebrities who are to be celebrated all over the country. The attitude of remembering them only at the time of explosion and terrorist attacks should be weeded out from our minds. They are our guardian angels who embrace the entire country in their feathers of sacrifice, patriotic fervor and daring courage.

Your life is pledged

Your distance to the graveyard shortens arbitrarily

Your are distanced from your dear ones, may be forever

You are unsure of your ability to breathe the next second

You may bathe in your companion’s blood and yet be forced to move on ignoring your dear friend transform into a corpse

Death may seem like a morning ritual

Yet you’ve chosen this to be your destiny

But what to do we give in return

A two minute gunshot and a national flag dressed coffin to carry the real pride of the nation

Their death seems to be nothing special but a mere statistical count of casualties during the war or any such incident

And alas! the valor and daring bravery of defending the nation is paid-back to their family in the form of the number of steps their family members take back and forth the government offices for a meager compensation paid by the government which is nothing compared to the loss of the breadwinner of a family and a nation’s pride.Though the soldiers gain sympathy in some form they are not given the due honour they deserve. They deserve the apex position in the country’s hierarchy both in terms of power and money.

THIS DESERVES TO BE THE HIGHLY PAID JOB OF THE NATION BECAUSE THE CAPITAL THAT THEY INVEST IS NOTHING BUT THEIR LIFE.

Afterall life has nothing to spare with and they spare their lives for the life of others.

We,the citizens are responsible for their slumber in the graveyards

Let us not crucify them again by being ignorant of their life pledging feat but rather let us resurrect them by paying due respect for this profession and those who take up this profession.

A salute to these daring, dashing, courageous heroes.!!!!

Let your bravery be sung around so that it echoes along with our national anthem forever!!!!!

JAIHIND!!!!!
